Jade Piedra Mason enlisted in the US Navy and has completed training
as an RO (Reactor Operator.) After some much deserved leave time,
which she spent traveling across the country in her convertible
SAAB turbo (!), she is now in San Diego, CA! This is a return of
sorts for her as she lived in sunny San Diego in 1988 and attended
Kindergarten there for a short time. Now, she is living and working
on board the Nimitz,
and enjoying southern California on her off time. Last weekend she
went surfing for the first time! She will be off on her 6-month
deployment sometime the first of next year. In the meantime, you
